ICT Manager (Maternity Cover) – Catholic School, Eastern Suburbs
12-Month Contract | Mid-May Start | Leadership Opportunity
A well-established Catholic school in Melbourne's eastern suburbs is seeking a dedicated and experienced ICT Manager to provide maternity cover for a 12-month contract, commencing in mid-May. This is an exciting leadership opportunity to oversee the school's ICT operations and support a dynamic learning environment.
The ICT Manager must have the capacity to innovate and expand the School’s ICT-related software, hardware, device management and service solutions in the spirit of continuous improvement to ensure our ICT provision to students and staff enables the school to optimally fulfil its vision. The College is in a period of growth and development in its ICT provisions.
As such the ICT Manager will play a significant role in this period of advancement which includes, but is not limited to, the implementation of a Disaster Recovery Plan, Cybersecurity enhancement, Masterplan projects and BYOD Program across all student cohorts.
The ICT Manager will possess qualifications in the areas of computer science, computer system engineering and/or information and technology networks, as well as significant experience and proven knowledge of the provision of ICT within an educational setting. This leader will be an outstanding operator with a demonstrated ability in the area of ICT and a proven ability to lead innovation.
In a nutshell:
... Lead and manage the ICT team of three direct reports, ensuring efficient delivery of ICT services.
Oversee the school’s IT infrastructure, systems, and networks, ensuring reliability and security.
Provide strategic ICT guidance to enhance digital learning and administrative functions.
Manage ICT projects, including system upgrades, software implementations, and cybersecurity initiatives.
Offer technical support and troubleshooting for staff and students.
Maintain compliance with school policies and Catholic education standards.

Proven experience in ICT management, preferably in an education setting.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Expertise in network administration, cybersecurity, and IT service management.
Ability to develop and implement ICT strategies aligned with the school’s vision.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
