Randstad Digital is currently working with a Government Department to find a Business Analyst for a 6 month contract, with the opportunity to extend based in Brisbane’s CBD. This role is part of a program designed to change the ways of working at an organisational level.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitating workshops, interviews, and focus groups with stakeholders to elicit, analyse and document business and functional requirements, and management of requirements traceability.
- Documenting specifications used to configure and build the solution in line with identified requirements.
- Propose system design of Power Platform products to meet project requirements.
- Developing, configuring, and managing Power Platform apps.
- Developing, configuring, and managing SharePoint sites.
- Conducting walkthroughs to validate and obtain approval of business analysis outputs.
- Applying business analysis techniques and tools to document requirements, objectives, outcomes, processes, procedures, work instructions and workflows.
- Undertaking and support testing activities including preparing and executing test plans and cases.
- Delivering project documentation in alignment with project management frameworks, on time, to expected quality standards as per scope and as agreed with the Project Manager.
Necessary Skills:
- Extensive skills and experience as a Business Analyst, including experience in requirements gathering, business process analysis/modelling, process mapping and information analysis/modelling, planning, design, testing and system integration, using industry standard techniques in a complex business environment
- Knowledge and understanding of the entire Power Platform stack (PowerApps, Power BI, Power Automate, Power Query) and experience with SharePoint design and development
- Business-to-technology translation skills are essential for identifying ways to apply solutions to increase business value and performance
- Design end-to-end solutions that improve collaboration, productivity, and knowledge sharing
