Initial 6 month contract for an experienced Identity and Access Management specialist to join a higher education provider in supporting the implementation of a new identity and access management platform.
... What you will be doing:
- Conduct detailed technical discovery of various IAM components such as systems of record ingestion, access policies, MFA services, SSO, federated services, etc.
- Document and/or assist with documentation associated with detailed designs, key decision papers, options analysis, etc.
- Conduct key stakeholder meetings with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Assist with the implementation of the new IAM platform and the associated services.
- Assist with the transition of services from the current platform to the new platform.
- Conduct and/or assist with reporting of technical elements for the project.
- Collaborate strongly with the project manager, program architect, business analyst, implementation partner and operation support team.
- Provide technical advice and guidance for the operational support teams.
About you:
- Centralised IAM solutions such as Okta, Ping ID, Entra ID, etc.
- Downstream directory services such as Active Directory or similar
- Multi-Factor Authentication systems
- Passwordless authentication services
- Business to Business (B2B) guest access
- Consumer to Business (CSB) guest access (Social account access)
- Identity Governance and Administration
- SCIM (System for Cross-Domain Identity Management) user and group provisioning
- Deep knowledge of standards and protocols such as SAML, OAuth, WS-FED, OpenID Connect, Kerberos.
- Design and implement Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), Attribute-Based Access Control (ABAC), and other access management models.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation tools (PowerShell, Python, Bash)
