Randstad has been given the opportunity to support one of our clients in the Manufacturing sector, who are currently recruiting a key position of a HVAC Control Systems officer to be based in the Western suburbs of Melbourne.
This role has become available due to the rapid growth of the business which has seen the company dramatically scale itself in the last 5+ years. This opportunity will see you join an established team, have hands-on support from System Officers in other regions along with reporting to the Regional Operations Manager who is approachable and passionate about the business.
About the role & business
- Based in the Western suburbs - open to either Inner or Outer suburbs (Can work at either branch)
- Role would be split 30% on the road & 70% in the office
- The role requires someone who has sound product and technical knowledge with experience in the field and possesses excellent communication skills to provide high-quality service that meets/exceeds customer expectations at all times.
- Fully maintained company car is available
- Support from head office in Adelaide as well as Techs in each region to collaborate with along with the lead engineer accessible
- Company is an international manufacturer of HVAC products with 29 sites nationally and over 400 people across the business
- Salary: $100-120k+ super, depending on experience
About you:
- Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, Mechanical or Electrician tertiary quals would be preferred but non essential
- Proven work experience as HVAC Support Officer or similar in a customer service role.
- Required Restricted Electrical Licence - Connect and Disconnect
- Ability to work autonomously, schedule your day and are self motivated
- White card Licence.
- Current Driver's Licence.
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient computer skills.
