Key Responsibilities:

• Teach HSIE subjects with a focus on Stage 6 History (advantageous).
• Contribute to the development of engaging and innovative classroom practices for senior school students.

• Collaborate with colleagues to improve teaching strategies and student engagement.
• Participate in pastoral care and the broader life of the school community.

Selection Criteria:
To succeed in this role, you will demonstrate:

• A high level of competency as a classroom teacher with a passion for HSIE subjects.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Innovative teaching practices tailored to the diverse needs of senior students.
• A solid understanding of technology integration in education.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Desirable:

• Experience teaching Stage 6 History.

Qualifications:

• Relevant teaching qualifications and current accreditation with NESA.
• Valid NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC).
