Are you a dedicated and experienced HSIE teacher seeking a rewarding opportunity in Sydney’s South West? A vibrant P–12 independent school is seeking a Senior School HSIE Teacher to join their team in Term 1, 2025. Key Responsibilities:
- Teach HSIE subjects with a focus on Stage 6 History (advantageous).
- Contribute to the development of engaging and innovative classroom practices for senior school students.
- Integrate technology into teaching to enhance learning outcomes.
- Collaborate with colleagues to improve teaching strategies and student engagement.
- Participate in pastoral care and the broader life of the school community.
Selection Criteria:
To succeed in this role, you will demonstrate:
- A high level of competency as a classroom teacher with a passion for HSIE subjects.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Innovative teaching practices tailored to the diverse needs of senior students.
- A solid understanding of technology integration in education.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Desirable:
- Experience teaching Stage 6 History.
Qualifications:
- Relevant teaching qualifications and current accreditation with NESA.
- Valid NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC).
