Overview
Our client, a leading tier 3 commercial builder with a solid focus on health and safety and are looking to bolster the team with an experienced HSE Advisor for a new roving position.
Responsibilities
As a suitable applicant you will have been working for a reputable contractor with experience of working on mult-level building projects, being across the risk factors, legal requirements and the best way to ensure the highest level of site safety is achieved. To be considered, you will have first class communication skills, be a team player and be able to hit the ground running on commercial profile projects where you can gain positive OH&S outcomes. You will be tertiary qualified and be equally comfortable with systems work as you will be working with the site teams.
Duties include:
... - Ensure sites are compliant and to a high safety standard
- Providing clear & strong leadership to ensure you create an Incident & Injury free work environment.
- Coordinate all Health & Safety strategies & initiatives
- Maintaining all OH&S documentation and reports
- Auditing and ICAM investigations
Requirements
- 3-5 years experience in site safety
- A Diploma in OH&S
- An up-to-date understanding of OH&S legislation.
- First class communication skills
- A stable track record of employment
- Undertaken ICAM investigations
