This HRIS Aurion Specialist role sits within the People Systems team whose primary function is to support and maintain the agency's HRIS application, Aurion. The Aurion Technical Specialist will develop, maintain and manage the high level technical scope of work across the Aurion system. The role will work closely with the Assistant Director People Assist, HR Project Officer, relevant project managers and SMEs.

Responsibilities:
- Identify opportunities to enhance system, business processes and service delivery
- Coordinate the Aurion Cloud Platform (ACP) maintenance release each quarter by developing the strategy document, completing a change request, ensuring testing outcomes are completed by the HR System Administrators
- Provide tier two technical support to system issues which require more complex and technical expertise
- Development of project, system and technical documentation including scoping documents, templates, testing documents, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) & Work Instructions
- Work collaboratively and engage with stakeholders and team members to ensure project outcomes and objectives are delivered on time and to ensure they are prioritised and aligned to People and Capability’s
About you:
- Must be Australian Citizen
- A baseline clearence is a mandatory requirement for this role, current holders preferred but applicants who are willing to apply will be highly considered.
- HR background or strong HR understanding and knowledge.
- Min 1-2 years demonstrated experience as an Aurion Systems Administrator – mandatory
- Demonstrated technical expertise in configuring and delivering business process automation
- Demonstrated knowledge across various other high level Aurion technical functions such as AQTs, forms and surveys, workflows, batches and module configuration / implementation
- Experience working in a project management oriented environment with demonstrated experience
