HR Partners by Randstad is thrilled to be currently exclusively recruiting for an exciting opportunity as a HR Manager to join our clients HR team based in the Melbourne CBD.
This role is a permanent full time position and will lead a small team of HR professionals and is responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of people related programs and projects.
This is the perfect opportunity for a strategic, people centric, collaborative HR Manager looking for their next opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of People and Culture strategy to support the establishment of the people framework, whilst supporting the achievement of strategic priorities.
- Establishment and continuous improvement of the HR function, with a focus on workforce planning, organisational design, attraction & selection, onboarding & induction, remuneration & recognition, diversity & equity, capability development, performance management, employee relations, and occupational health, safety & wellbeing.
- Implement and continuously improve a range of HR policies, procedures and processes across recruitment, onboarding, learning & development, leave, payroll, and OHS to support effective people management practices that comply with organisational and legislative requirements.
- Provide appropriate advice and guidance on HR matters at all levels to maximise the performance of people resource across all stages of the employee lifestyle.
Key Selection Criteria:
- At least 5-10 years’ experience as HR Manager, ideally with experience leading a small HR team.
- Demonstrable knowledge and experience in interpreting enterprise agreements, awards and State and Federal employment legislation, preferably in a public context.
- Experience working in the Victorian Public Sector is highly regarded.
- A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field, or other relevant qualifications, is required.
