We are looking for someone eager to collaborate on leadership projects, interpret policies, and enhance the company's people and culture initiatives. As our client experiences rapid growth, we seek a dynamic, organised, and efficient leader to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
- People & Culture: Collaborate with leadership on HR issues.
- Strategic Projects: Contribute to key initiatives, such as new HR systems.
- Payroll: Process payroll and reporting.
- Policy & Benefits: Advise on remuneration and benefits policies.
- Problem-Solving: Address team performance and organisation design challenges.
- HR Processes: Implement new HR processes, including reporting and SASH support.
- Health & Wellbeing: Lead health and safety programs.
- Talent Review: Support annual talent reviews and workforce planning.
Requirements for This Role:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field (HR certifications are a plus)
- Strong HR background, preferably 3-4 years in a predominantly blue-collar work environment
- Must have experience processing payroll previously
- Hardworking attitude, eagerness to learn, and a drive to lead and implement positive change
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of EBA and employment laws
