As the HR Generalist, you will play a crucial role in supporting HR operations and ensuring that the team remains engaged, motivated, and aligned with company goals. You will have a strong ability to execute projects and initiatives across systems, procedures, learning & development, wellness programmes and remuneration and benefits You will also manage day to day operations across employee relations, recruitment, compliance, performance management, and training across our manufacturing facilities. Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment & Staffing: Lead the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and on-boarding new hires for various positions within the company.
- Employee Relations: Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries, concerns, and grievances, ensuring that all issues are resolved in a timely and professional manner.
- Compliance & Record Keeping: Ensure compliance with employment laws, as well as company policies and procedures. Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.
- Training & Development: Coordinate and facilitate employee training sessions
- Performance Management: Assist in managing performance reviews, goal setting, and performance improvement plans to help employees achieve their full potential.
- Benefits Administration: Support the administration of employee benefits programs
- Health & Safety: Collaborate with management to ensure a safe and healthy work environment, including compliance with WHS and other safety regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience in HR, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong understanding of labour laws, HR best practices, and employee relations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise, and manage time effectively.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems, Microsoft Office, and other HR tools.
