Are you an experienced HR professional looking to make an impact in a dynamic and collaborative environment? We have an exciting opportunity for a HR Business Partner to join our team in Geelong. Reporting to a Senior Business Partner, you will play a key role in supporting people-related initiatives and ensuring best-practice HR processes are embedded across the organisation.
About the Role
As an HR Business Partner, you will work closely with People, Culture & Engagement Partners to implement HR initiatives and support managers throughout the employee lifecycle. This includes performance management, employee relations, recruitment, and change management. You will act as a key liaison across HR branches, providing expert advice and contributing to workforce planning. Additionally, you will lead knowledge management within the Business Partnering team, ensuring consistency in HR policies, processes, and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Senior Business Partner in delivering HR solutions and coaching managers.
- Assist with performance management, employee relations, recruitment, and change management.
- Contribute to organisational change initiatives, including consultation processes and redeployment.
- Act as the first point of contact for Tier 2 HR queries escalated from Shared Services.
- Support managers with onboarding, employee exits, and redundancies.
- Monitor and analyse workforce data to address HR-related challenges.
Key Selection Criteria
- 3-6 years of generalist HR experience with strong HR practices and procedures knowledge.
- Proven stakeholder engagement skills, with emotional intelligence and resilience.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent time management, organisational, and prioritisation skills.
- Tertiary qualifications in HR or a related discipline.
