Responsibilities of the role include:
- Align business objectives with employees and management to ensure a cohesive work environment.
- Provide practical advice and support on operational P&C matters, including interpreting policies, procedures, and contracts.
- Conduct end-to-end recruitment activities to attract and retain qualified and experienced employees.
- Coordinate the performance review process, ensuring timely and effective evaluations.
- Support the execution of P&C activities across all business units to enhance employee and employer relationships.
- Assist in developing and managing various P&C projects and corporate events, ensuring successful implementation.
- Maintain and update employment contracts to ensure they are compliant, competitive, and accurate.
- Conduct exit interviews and provide detailed reports on findings to the P&C Manager for executive review.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related field
- At least 3 years of HR Generalist experience
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
- Experience in end-to-end recruitment
- Ability to interpret and implement policies and contracts
- Guidance and support skills for management in disciplinary matters
- Understanding of employment legislation, preferably within the public sector
- Consultation skills with executive-level staff
- Comprehensive knowledge of HR practices
