We are seeking a HR Advisor to provide support, coaching, and guidance to line managers regarding employee relations. As part of the ANZ team, this role supports day-to-day operations and contributes to the implementation and delivery of the People plan for Australia.
Responsibilities:
- Recruitment: Manage end-to-end recruitment activities to attract diverse talent. Coach leaders on sourcing and screening candidates, and propose enhancements to digitise the recruitment function.
- Support & Coaching: Guide people leaders through People Org processes such as talent reviews, performance management, and compensation review processes.
- Health, Safety, and Environment: Provide expertise and guidance for the team and leaders.
- Talent Development: Connect with growth potential talent to coach and support their leadership skills.
- Engagement Initiatives: Deliver engagement surveys and Great Place to Work initiatives.
- Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion: Advocate for and support DE&I strategies and initiatives for the ANZ business.
- Performance Management: Conduct investigations into poor performance or behaviors, provide performance coaching, participate in disciplinary meetings, and advise on team member terminations.
- Policy Guidance: Provide policy interpretation and guidance, coaching managers on decision-making and risk assessment.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with Fair Work and other relevant legislation, and internal HR policies, recommending changes to stay ahead of legislative requirements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in HR or a related field
- 3+ years’ experience in a People and Culture function
- Experience with Workday preferred
- Strong knowledge of local employee relations frameworks, Fair Work Act, OHS, and related legislation
- Payroll administration experience is advantageous
