Key responsibilities in your new role:
- Diagnose, service, and repair trucks & trailers. (Volvo & Isuzu experience desirable)
- Use computerised systems, hand & power tools.
- Perform scheduled maintenance and inspections.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Work safely & efficiently to minimise downtime and keep the fleet running smoothly.
- Maintain a clean and safe workshop environment.
What you will need to succeed:
Along with proven local experience on heavy vehicles or heavy plant equipment
- Australian trade qualification as a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic
- Experience working with trucks and trailers (preferred)
- Strong mechanical, communication and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A commitment to understand & demonstrate workplace safety and high-quality work.
- HR Licence. (advantageous but not essential)
- Able to pass a pre employment medical & drug/alcohol screen.
