We’re seeking an experienced Health & Safety Manager from the commercial building market for this new role.
Overview:
We’re seeking an HSE / Safety Manager for a commercial builder who are looking to take their safety setup to the next level. This is a great opportunity to join a thriving business where you will have a direct line to the business owners and have the capacity to shape this role in your own vision. We’re seeking someone who can build relationships with the site teams, review and implement systems and processes. This role will suit someone who is equally comfortable working on site as they are being based in the office. You will have experience of working on projects with mobile cranes, precast concrete and scaffolding.
Duties include:
- Implement, manage and upgrade the systems
- Reviewing HSE Plans and SWMS
- Conducting internal audits and ensure compliance
- Review processes in line with legislation
- Provide guidance and advice to the site teams
- Undertake regular site inspections
Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma in Safety
- Experience with a tier 2nd or 3rd tier builder
- Experience with ISO accreditation
- A stable career history
- A Clean driving license
