Head of Diverse Learning (Years 7-12)

We are seeking an experienced and passionate leader to head our Diverse Learning department (Years 7-12). This is a fantastic opportunity for a forward-thinking educator with a strong background in inclusive education and team leadership.
About the Role
Lead a dedicated team of 20+ educators, driving best practices in supporting diverse learners.
Oversee the development and implementation of inclusive learning programs, ensuring equitable access to education for all students.
Collaborate with teaching staff, leadership teams, and external stakeholders to build a culture of inclusion and differentiated learning.
Provide strategic guidance on individual learning plans (ILPs) and targeted interventions.
Work closely with pastoral and wellbeing teams to support students' holistic development.
0.6-0.7 time release for the remainder of the year to focus on leadership responsibilities.
Ongoing position preferred, though a fixed-term arrangement may be considered.
About You
Demonstrated leadership experience in Diverse Learning, Special Education, or a related field.
Expertise in managing a large team and fostering a collaborative, high-performing culture.
Strong understanding of inclusive teaching strategies, learning adjustments, and differentiation.
Ability to liaise effectively with families, external agencies, and school leadership.
Experience working within the Catholic education sector is advantageous but not essential.
