In this position, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our products are delivered to our stores with care and accuracy. Delivery runs are scheduled at the start of the week, with the rest of the time dedicated to supporting warehouse duties. These activities include the loading/unloading of stock from trucks/containers, consolidating and preparing stock for delivery.

This is a physically demanding role that requires the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Main duties include but are not limited to:

• Coordination of delivery schedules (must have HC / MC licence)
• Safe loading and unloading of furniture/stock onto delivery trucks at warehouse and stores
• Ensure products are accurately packed, checked and accounted for prior to departure including, confirming all sections/components are included and products are properly secured to prevent damage during transport
• Safely unloading goods from container and organising within warehouse
• Operating the order picker forklift to select and pack stock for orders (optional)
• Carry out general warehouse duties, including stock organization, inventory checks, and supporting daily operations as needed.
• Safely lifting, moving, and arranging furniture as needed using appropriate equipment
• Working closely with the team to maintain accuracy, high service standards, and compliance with OH&S policies.

What we’re looking for:

• Current HC or MC drivers licence - required
• Forklift (LF) licence - preferred
• BFM - preferred
• Ability to provide a National Police Clearance
• Experience in delivery of goods
• Good level of physical fitness
• Understanding of correct manual handling procedures, and a positive attitude towards safety
• Respectable personal presentation and hygiene
