Randstad are seeking immediate applications from available and suitable candidates for the role of Graduate Structural, Mechanical & Piping Engineer within a growing mining services company.
You will provide effective technical expertise and engineering skills to ensure projects meet company and client standards and KPI’s
Key responsibilities of this role include:
- Assist senior engineers with the design and analysis of structural, mechanical, and piping componentry for a variety of projects
- Prepare technical drawings, specifications and reports
- Conduct site inspections and surveys
- Participate in project meetings and presentations
- Utilize engineering software and tools for analysis and design
- Stay up-to-date with industry standards and best practices
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment
- Assisting with determining project specifications and acquiring the necessary materials for completion
- Developing scope and parameters for project design and implementation
- Providing analysis and technical support to construction execution and manufacturing as required
- Completing design of SMP componentry utilising Autodesk Inventor
- Compiling periodic reports as requested
The successful candidate will possess:
- A degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent
- Excellent computing skills (Autodesk Inventor experience is essential)
- Strong commitment to safety principles
- Excellent time management and presentation skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Highly technical and detailed
- Energetic with a positive, can-do attitude
Candidates must be willing and eager to perform at our clients' high standards and energy. Preference will be given to South Australian based applicants with SMP design experience.
