About the Role:
Randstad are currently seeking reliable and customer-focused Gatehouse Attendants for a Local Council located in the Northern Suburbs. This role is ideal for someone with strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. This position offers ad-hoc hours to work as needed based on operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and control access to the facility, ensuring all visitors and vehicles comply with entry requirements.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service, responding to inquiries and directing visitors as needed.
- Accurately record vehicle and load details, process payments (if applicable), and issue receipts.
- Maintain the cleanliness and security of the gatehouse area.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and record-keeping abilities.
- The ability to work independently and handle routine tasks efficiently.
- Basic computer skills and experience handling payments
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety practices.
- A current driver’s licence
