Randstad Tasmania is seeking experienced and qualified carpenters with civil experience to join a respected client on a construction project in North-West Tasmania. This is a temporary contract with potential for ongoing career opportunities for the right candidate.

The Role:

This position offers a dynamic, fast-paced environment where safety is paramount. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, able to multitask, and comfortable working independently or as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply precision trade and non-trade skills across a variety of civil projects.
• Ensure a high standard of workmanship that meets expectations.
• Complete all tasks in a safe and efficient manner, following site-specific safe work procedures.

Key Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you will need to meet the following essential qualifications and experience:

• Relevant trade certificate (Carpentry - Formwork).
• 2+ years of post-qualification experience in the civil construction industry.
• Proven experience in civil construction.
• White Card (Construction Induction).
• Working at Heights
• Confined Space
• Current Driver’s License and reliable transport.
• Physically fit and capable of manual labouring tasks.
• Strong work ethic and the ability to work as part of a team.
• Full working rights in Australia.

Desirable Skills:

• Dogging or Rigging certification.
• Elevated Work Platform (EWP) certification.
• MR Licence.
