Randstad Tasmania is seeking experienced and qualified carpenters with civil experience to join a respected client on a construction project in North-West Tasmania. This is a temporary contract with potential for ongoing career opportunities for the right candidate.
The Role:
This position offers a dynamic, fast-paced environment where safety is paramount. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, able to multitask, and comfortable working independently or as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Apply precision trade and non-trade skills across a variety of civil projects.
- Ensure a high standard of workmanship that meets expectations.
- Complete all tasks in a safe and efficient manner, following site-specific safe work procedures.
Key Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you will need to meet the following essential qualifications and experience:
- Relevant trade certificate (Carpentry - Formwork).
- 2+ years of post-qualification experience in the civil construction industry.
- Proven experience in civil construction.
- White Card (Construction Induction).
- Working at Heights
- Confined Space
- Current Driver’s License and reliable transport.
- Physically fit and capable of manual labouring tasks.
- Strong work ethic and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Full working rights in Australia.
Desirable Skills:
- Dogging or Rigging certification.
- Elevated Work Platform (EWP) certification.
- MR Licence.
