Our client is seeking dedicated and skilled Warehouse Forklift Operators to join their permanent team. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure stable employment with a company that values its employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating forklifts (LF license essential) safely and efficiently to move, stack, and load/unload goods.
- Ensuring accurate handling and storage of all warehouse materials.
- Assisting with general warehouse duties, including order picking, packing, and stocktaking as required.
- Maintaining a clean and organised work environment.
- Adhering to all safety regulations and procedures.
- Reporting any equipment faults or safety concerns immediately.
Essential Requirements:
- Current LF (Forklift) License is mandatory. Applications without this license will not be considered.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive physical assessment to ensure you can safely perform the physical demands of the role.
- Ability to pass an instant drug and alcohol test prior to commencement.
- Current Australian Driver's License and reliable working vehicle to commute to and from our Townsville location.
- Must be based in Townsville or surrounding areas.
- Availability to work Monday to Friday during standard business hours.
Preferred Experience:
- Previous work experience in a warehousing or logistics environment.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Experience with different types of forklifts.
