Our client is a leading supplier and distributor of softwood timber products in Australia and New Zealand. The manufacturing sites are world class operations and located near some of the best renewable plantation pine resources in the world. Their products are widely used in building & renovating homes and the production of pallets, packaging & furniture.
Due to continued growth and volume in the mills, we are looking for suitable candidates for experienced forklift operators based at Bell Bay, Tasmania. The successful applicants will be required to work a rotating day and afternoon shift and will need to possess:
- Own car & licence
- Forklift ticket
- An eye for detail
- A thorough understanding work, health & safety practices
- An excellent work ethic & willingness to learn
- Physically capable of manual labour
Pre-employment requirements include:
- Full work-related medical
- Urine based drug & alcohol testing
- Reference checks
Due to the nature of the work, you will need a minimum of two years of recent forklift experience.
