Join a leading firm in the Building Services industry, specialising in innovative solutions for projects across various sectors. With a commitment to excellence and sustainability, we are seeking a talented Fire Protection / Hydraulic Engineer to join on a permanent basis.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage fire protection and hydraulic engineering projects from concept through to completion.
- Design and draft fire protection and hydraulic systems using AutoCAD and Revit software.
- Conduct hydraulic calculations and prepare technical specifications.
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
- Collaborate with architects, MEP engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate fire protection and hydraulic systems into overall building design.
- Provide technical support during construction and commissioning phases.
- Perform site inspections and review installations for quality assurance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Fire Protection Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience in designing fire protection and hydraulic systems for building projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit software for drafting and modeling.
- Strong understanding of hydraulic calculations and principles.
- Experience in leading projects.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and colleagues.
- Design drafting experience and familiarity with relevant industry standards and codes.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or working towards obtaining license preferred.
