About the Opportunity
As the FP&A Analyst, you will play a key role in providing financial and commercial support across budgeting, forecasting, and reporting functions. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality financial analysis, identifying key business drivers, and supporting strategic decision-making. Your expertise in Power BI and data mining will be instrumental in transforming complex data into meaningful insights. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will contribute to financial planning, process improvement, and governance while driving continuous enhancements in financial systems and reporting structures.
Your key deliverables will include:
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning, ensuring accuracy and strategic alignment across business units.
- Cash flow forecasting, variance analysis, and risk identification to support financial stability.
- Enhance financial models, reporting processes, and system efficiencies.
- Partner with senior leaders and operational teams to provide commercial support, analyse costs and margins, and enhance business performance.
- Utilise Power BI and analytical tools for financial modeling, trend analysis, and KPI tracking to drive informed decision-making.
- Develop and maintain key financial reports, dashboards, and statutory/shareholder reporting while ensuring compliance obligations are met.
- Work closely with international teams and senior stakeholders to provide commercial support.
Ideal Profile
- CPA/CA qualification or equivalent coupled with 4+ years industry experience in financial planning, reporting, and analysis within a corporate environment.
- A proactive and strategic mindset, with the ability to translate complex data into meaningful insights.
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards, financial controls, and governance.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience working with Power BI, SAP, and BPC.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities.
- Energy sector experience is highly desirable.
- Proficient in Mandarin (business standard) would be looked upon favourably.
