We are currently recruiting for experienced Finance Administration professionals to join our University Government client.
About the role
The Finance Administrator role is responsible for managing all the financial tasks within the finance department, assisting the property unit.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
... - Monitoring of the designed shared mailbox ensuring enquiries from suppliers, Accounts Payable and internal divisions are actioned
- Review of supplier invoices ensuring they are reviewed and sent to Accounts Payable for processing in a timely manner
- Requisitions/PO’s are created in line with UTS Procurement Policy
- New suppliers are set up or reactivated in line with the Procurement Policy
- Responding to creditor queries regarding payments/invoices
- Reviewing work order coding, supplier names and amounts ensuring any errors are resolved
- Activity Codes request and set-up project codes
- Expense acquittal support
- Be a key point of contact for Finance systems ie Concur
- Bank guarantee support
- When required reconciliation of cab charge records/invoices ensuring payment
- Ongoing review and collaboration of process and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness
- Maintain record management practices in line with the University's Record Management Program.
- Documentation of process maps focusing on continuous improvement.
- Identify and rectify any financial process issues in a timely manner
Your profile will demonstrate:
- Finance Administration experience / large organisation experience
- Desirable: Work experience within a University
- Ability to build strong rapport with internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Australian Citizenship
