Financial Accountant – Immediate Start 6-Month Contract Opportunity
Immediate start within a small team in the inner-northern suburbs of Brisbane. An established organisation is seeking an experienced Accountant to join their finance team on a temporary full-time basis (with potential for a permanent role). This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a collaborative and supportive team environment while assisting with key financial functions.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage the full accounting function, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and end-of-month/end-of-year processes.
- Perform bank reconciliations and prepare monthly IAS, BAS, and ATO lodgements.
- Oversee payroll functions and ensure accurate reporting and compliance.
- Work closely with the Financial Controller to support financial operations.
What You’ll Bring:
- CA or CPA qualification (required)
- Prior experience in a similar role with full-function accounting responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of Australian accounting standards and compliance requirements.
- Ability to work in a collaborative and dynamic office environment.
