The Opportunity:
Our client is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Metal Fabrication Supervisor to lead their busy workshop team. This role involves overseeing daily factory operations, ensuring the production of high-quality fabricated components, and providing on-site support during installations when required.
Experience required:
- Experience in staircase or balustrade fabrication/installation is essential
- Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and stick welding
- Demonstrated leadership experience in a workshop or fabrication environment
- Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Solid understanding of NCC, AS/NZS, and relevant Australian building codes
- High attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality
- Excellent communication and team management skills
- Forklift licence (preferred but not essential)
- Willingness to occasionally support installation teams on-site
