Key Responsibilities:
✅ Damage Assessment & Site Inspections - Conduct thorough inspections of buildings affected by fire, flood, storm, or malicious damage to determine the scope of repairs needed.
✅ Cost Estimation - Prepare and submit accurate cost estimates for repair works, ensuring compliance with industry standards and insurance requirements.
✅ Stakeholder Communication - Work closely with insurance providers, contractors, and clients to ensure clear communication and the smooth execution of repair projects.
✅ Project Management - Oversee repair projects from start to finish, ensuring timely and cost-effective completion.
✅ Regulatory Compliance - Ensure that all estimates and repair works comply with relevant regulations and insurance policies.
✅ Documentation Management - Maintain accurate records of estimates, approvals, and project documentation to support the claims process.
About You:
✔️ Experience in building or construction estimating, or a similar role within the insurance or construction industry.
✔️ Cert IV in Building & Construction or similar qualification (preferred but not essential).
✔️ Strong understanding of insurance claims and building repair processes.
✔️ Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in preparing estimates.
✔️ Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
✔️ Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
✔️ Proficiency in estimating software (desirable but not required).

Building Insurance Estimator:
As a Building Insurance Estimator, you will play a key role in assessing property damage and providing accurate cost estimates for repairs. Working with top insurance builders across Australia, you will be responsible for inspecting damaged properties, preparing detailed estimates, and ensuring that repairs are carried out in accordance with industry standards and insurance policies. This role requires strong knowledge of building construction, repair processes, and insurance claims, along with excellent communication skills to liaise with clients, contractors, and insurance providers.
