Key Responsibilities:
show more- Conduct geological logging and sampling during drilling activities
- Interpret and record data from drill core, chips, and other geological samples
- Assist in geological mapping and target generation
- Support the planning and implementation of the drill program, ensuring safety and compliance with company standards
- Maintain accurate geological records and databases
- Work closely with senior geologists and drill crews to ensure high-quality data collection
Qualifications and Experience:
- A degree in Geology or a related field
- Proven experience in exploration, particularly with logging and interpreting
- Solid understanding of drilling techniques and data collection processes.
- Strong fieldwork experience, including geological mapping and logging in drilling environment.
- Excellent communication and reporting skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting and as part of a team
- Proficiency with geological software (e.g., GIS, drill database systems).
