Randstad Digital is currently looking for an Environment Cutover Lead to join a high performing project team as they migrate and upgrade their current systems to SAP HR systems. This role is a 6-month contract, with the strong opportunity to extend past that point.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement compliance with frameworks, strategies, standards, and processes for environment management and release cutover responsibilities to synchronise business solutions across integrated systems.
- Manage system environment landscapes supporting HR/Payroll, Finance ERP systems, and other supported systems for release and production activities.
- Oversee environment management and release cutover activities throughout the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Coordinate technical, business, and data cutover activities for solution design, build, test, and implementation phases.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to streamline processes for replicating and synchronising applications across SDLC landscapes.
- Work with internal and external teams to ensure timely delivery of systems, infrastructure, and technology as per program plans.
- Assist in developing comprehensive solution plans and coordinate production handover for all releases, ensuring quality, integrity, and knowledge transfer.
- Manage dependencies and advise on scheduling conflicts and priorities for multiple release cutovers and handovers.
Necessary Skills:
- Demonstrated ability and experience in leading and managing the provision of environment management strategies and activities and release cutover activities in delivering both SAP and Non-SAP based solutions under controlled releases for a significant program of work. Specifically, the migration and upgrade to SAP HR systems.
- Demonstrated knowledge of and experience applying project management methodologies, principles and practices, including stakeholder management and change management principles.
- Demonstrated strategic thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proven advanced communications skills and the ability to consult and to effectively negotiate with a diverse range of stakeholders and build positive relationships in an environment of change.
