About the Role:

As a Customer Support Officer you will work within a friendly and supportive team-oriented environment where you will provide a positive client experience via phone and email to property insurance customers.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting customers with general property insurance queries via phone and email while maintaining a first point of contact resolution focus.
• Accurately prepare insurance documentation such as certificates of currency, cancellations, new business applications and policy alterations.
• Maintain and demonstrate an understanding of compliance requirements.
• Assist in processing or data entry including verification and agent transfer lists.
• Handle customer enquiries promptly and while maintaining confidentiality and discretion in the performance of all duties.
• Display a strong work ethic and a genuine desire to assist others.

Hours: This is a full-time 6 month fixed term contract working 8.30am-5.00pm Mon-Fri. Hybrid working 2-3 days in the office, 2-3 days from home with flexibility around which days you are in the office.

Start Date: As soon as convenient.

Skills and Experience:

Our client is looking for someone with experience within a customer service environment however what is most important is your positive culture fit within the company and eagerness to learn. • Extremely clear and high level communication skills
• A positive can-do attitude and willingness to learn
• Experience in a customer service or administrative environment is ideal
• Strong PC skills and ability to work on computer-based applications
• Previous experience in a financial services setting would be highly regarded
