• Strategy: Develop the agency current, transition, and target state architecture, including designing required platform services, paying close attention to addressing existing architectural issues in the environment.
• Planning: Work closely with the enterprise ICT architect, to develop and maintain multi-year and yearly agency work plans, by incorporating applications roadmaps and planning.
• Governance: Develop application design guidelines, patterns, and standards to ensure alignment with the target applications architecture.
• Assistance: Assist the director in delivering the services of the Enterprise Architecture section, including by undertaking activities such as:

Skills:

• Experience in developing and maintaining agency ICT current, interim, and target state application architecture, as well as developing implementation roadmaps, and plans
• Experience defining, implementing, and overseeing the use of, applications reference architecture, guidelines, patterns and standards
  
• Experience performing a range of architectural functions, such as practice improvement, development of patterns and standards, governance
  
• Possesses relevant skills and experience in applying contemporary patterns (e.g., object-oriented design, microservices, containerisation, integration patterns, n-tier architecture), and technologies (e.g., cloud computing services, high and low code software development platforms, big data technologies)
