Randstad is currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join our client, a leading bakery based in Broadmeadows. This is a great opportunity to work within a fast-paced environment, maintaining electrical systems and machinery to ensure smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform electrical maintenance and troubleshooting across bakery machinery and equipment.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems.
- Work across a range of production and packaging machinery to ensure optimum performance.
- Respond to electrical faults and breakdowns promptly, minimizing downtime.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
Skills & Experience:
- Trade qualification in Electrical Engineering (Cert III or equivalent).
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Electrician, preferably in food production or similar industries.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Flexible to work across both day and night shifts.
- High regard for workplace safety.
