The Opportunity
We’re on the lookout for a talented and motivated Electrical Design Engineer to join our growing engineering team. You’ll be involved from concept to completion, designing and developing electrical systems that power tomorrow’s infrastructure — with a focus on data centers, defence facilities, and high-reliability environments.
Key Responsibilities
Develop electrical design solutions across power, lighting, and communications systems
Collaborate with project managers, estimators, and site teams to deliver integrated design and construction outcomes
Liaise with clients, consultants, and suppliers to ensure project requirements are met
Conduct load calculations, equipment selection, and ensure compliance with Australian Standards and client specifications
Participate in site inspections and design reviews
What You Bring
Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
3+ years of experience in electrical design within the construction or building services sector
Experience working on large-scale or technically complex projects (data centers, defence, hospitals, etc.)
Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and/or electrical calculation tools
A detail-oriented mindset with strong communication and problem-solving skills
