Key Responsibilities:
- Installation, commissioning, servicing, and maintenance of electronic security systems and equipment, including alarm systems, access control, CCTV, and associated systems.
- Remediation of any issues related to security systems.
- Participate in a rostered on-call after-hours service to provide support and resolve issues promptly.
- Ensure all work is completed to the highest standard and in compliance with relevant regulations.
Experience and Knowledge Requirements:
- Experience in installation, commissioning, servicing, maintenance, and remediation of electronic security systems, ideally working with alarm systems, access control, CCTV, and associated systems.
- High level of competence in IT-based applications and hardware (preferred).
- Understanding of Cloud technology (preferred, but not mandatory).
- Availability to participate in an on-call roster for after-hours service.
- Experience in Data/Electrical cabling would be highly regarded.
Qualification Requirements:
- Current Driver’s License (mandatory).
- Possession of, or ability to obtain, a QLD Security License.
- Possession of, or ability to obtain, Cabler Registration.
- EWP (Elevating Work Platform) License or High-Risk License (preferred, or the ability to obtain).
- Trade certificate in Data, Voice & Communications or similar (preferred).
- Possession of, or ability to obtain, an Australian Department of Defence NV1 Security Clearance.
Additional Requirements:
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol test.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
