Role Description:
As the EL1 Shared Services and Contracts Manager , you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality outcomes across shared services functions. This position requires a proactive and strategic individual, accountable for managing complex projects and tasks that impact operational and strategic objectives, including the delivery of shared services to build a world-leading national initiative.
Key Responsibilities:
... - Oversee shared services performance, monitoring obligations and actively addressing any issues, risks, and escalations.
- Support and contribute to internal work programs and governance committees, escalating key issues when required.
- Lead and manage the delivery of services in line with governance frameworks.
- Conduct regular agreement reviews and participate in joint initiatives focused on continuous improvement.
- Prepare reports, written correspondence, and briefing materials to keep stakeholders informed.
The Shared Services and Contract Management team manages a mix of government-to-government MOU arrangements as well as commercial contracts. You’ll also lead a team responsible for corporate and ICT support, ensuring services are managed consistently and in compliance with finance policies and Commonwealth Resource Management Framework.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience in contract management, procurement, or accounting within government.
- Strong understanding of corporate and ICT systems, particularly SAP, is highly regarded.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to represent organizational interests across forums.
