- Assisting in developing engagement plans and contributing to annual internal audit planning.
- Conducting field audit engagements following IA methodologies to enhance governance, risk management, and internal controls, including compliance audits and investigations.
- Supervising and supporting team members in conducting interviews, completing Risk and Control Matrices (RACM), and presenting audit findings.
- Preparing comprehensive internal audit reports for the Board, Audit Committee, and Management.
- Conducting follow-up activities to assess evidence and close out audit issues in accordance with IA methodologies.
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders on audit matters, and reporting outcomes and insights to the IA team.
- Leading efforts to raise awareness across the Agency about the role and value of internal auditing.
- Supporting the Australian National Audit Office (ANAO) in investigations and responding to their requests
Essentials: - Australian Citizenship
- Prior experience in coordinating ANAO audits
