In this role you will play a pivotal role in shaping positive outcomes for children by leading and mentoring the educators to ensure the centre is providing the highest quality care and education for all children. You will be ensuring the educators are implementing the VEYLF and centers philosophy into their program planning, plan for groups of children and individual needs while ensuring you stay up to date with industry change.
Some of the great benefits of this role are competitive salary $70k - $85k plus super, discounted childcare fees, professional development and paid birthday leave.
The ideal candidate will:
Hold their completed Early Childhood Teaching degree or Diploma of Children's services
Hold a current First Aid Certificate
Be experienced educational leader
Be confident with leading and mentoring staff meetings
Be experienced handling parent enquiries and engaging with the community.
Be an active member of the leadership team
Ensure team members understand and adhere to center standards
Oversee and approve storypark posts
Have a solid understanding of the EYLF
Have a solid understanding of new VICTORIAN regulations/legislation

This large, well established centre in the inner west suburb of Werribee is seeking an experienced educational leader to join their team This centre provides great staff: child ratios, excellent funding and resources, and enticing staff benefits.
The position would working as an educational leader in a long day care centre, open 7:00amam – 6:30pm, and catering for children aged 0 - 5.
