Randstad Business Support Gold Coast are proud to be assisting one of our valued clients with the temporary recruitment of an experienced document controller in the Northern Gold Coast regions.

For this position we are seeking a document controller with experience in either the civil, commercial construction or engineering sector, who can join the project and hit the ground running, creating a positive impact from commencement.

Duties will include:

Control and distribute version-controlled documents to ensure only the latest versions are used.
Manage incoming and outgoing project contract correspondence as per the project filing system.
Communicate effectively with project teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants to obtain and distribute documents as required.
Assist in the preparation and submission of project documentation to clients, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders.
Implement and maintain procedures for document control, ensuring compliance with project requirements and company standards.
Ensure all project-related documents are kept up-to-date and that obsolete versions are archived or discarded according to the project-specific document retention plan.
Provide administrative support to project teams, assisting with document retrieval, preparation, and submission.
Handle document-related inquiries from internal staff, clients, or regulatory agencies.
Inform the Project Quality Manager/Project Manager of any significant events or issues impacting project delivery, especially related to document management and handover.

To be successful:

Prior experience in a document control role, preferably in civil or commercial construction or an engineering-related industry.
Demonstrable knowledge of the principles for management of version-controlled documents.
Prior use of a document management system (InEight TeamBinder)
Intermediate to advanced computer literacy – (Microsoft Suite).
Developed written and verbal communication skills.
