The Centre
This privately owned and exceeding purpose-built centre located in Collaroy Plateau caters 56 children from the age of 0-5 years. The service features bright and light-filled rooms providing plenty of resources to plan your daily programs for the little ones. A stunning outdoor playground is also available to promote and foster natural play experiences. Having a close relationship with parents and the community is a priority for the team. The centre is open Monday to Friday, 7:30AM-6PM. ...

The Role
As a Diploma Educator, your responsibilities will include:

Assisting and working alongside the Room Leader to implement programming leading to successful learning outcomes for the children
Communicating positively with the children and families
Being reliable, respectful and work constructively with your colleagues and other professionals
Providing high-quality care and education for children age 0-2 years
Implementing education and care programs that meet the holistic needs of the individual child as part of a community
Ensuring a trusting relationship is developed with families through regular, honest and open communication regarding the care of their child
Having sound knowledge of current child care practices, the Early Years Learning Framework and the National Quality Framework

About You

To be successful in this position, you must have:

A Diploma in Early Childhood OR ACECQA-approved equivalent qualification
A current Working with Children’s Check
Current First Aid Certificate (including asthma and anaphylactic training) or willing to obtain
Food Handling Certificate or willing to obtain
Understanding and knowledge of the EYLF and NQS
