- Assist in implementing security controls required for Essential 8 Maturity Level 2.
- Collaborate with the Cybersecurity team to align desktop security settings with compliance requirements.
- Perform vulnerability assessments and apply necessary patches and configurations.
- Configure, deploy, and manage desktop environments.
- Implement and update Group Policies to enhance security and compliance with .
- Troubleshoot desktop and security control issues effectively.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of security configurations and deployment processes.
- Prepare progress reports for management review.
Experience:
- Proven experience in implementing Essential 8 Maturity Level 2 security controls.
- Alternatively, strong expertise in SCCM/SOE management, application packaging, and Group Policy administration.
- Proficiency in Windows Desktop OS, SCCM, PowerShell scripting, Group Policy management and security controls.
- Experience with vulnerability management and desktop security configurations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively under tight deadlines.
- Certifications in Microsoft technologies (e.g., MCSA, MCSE) are advantageous.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
