We are looking for an experienced Technical Data Migration Consultant with a strong background in BODS, Info Steward, Data Analysis, SQL, PowerBI, and ideally Python to efficiently migrate and transform data for SAP S/4 HANA migration. The ideal candidate will have expertise in SAP data tools, a solid understanding of business processes, and be capable of providing hands-on support during the entire data migration lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage data migration efforts for S/4 HANA, ensuring data integrity, quality, and consistency throughout the process.
- Utilise SAP DS to design, implement, and monitor data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
- Should have expertise with managing Enterprise Data Quality using SAP Information Steward with ability to analyse, define, monitor, and improve quality of enterprise data as well as trace quality issues to root causes, data cleansing, Metadata management, create Metapedia (terms, categories, etc and configure business rules and score cards.
- Conduct thorough data analysis and mapping to ensure accurate data migration across systems.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and align migration strategies with business needs.
- Develop and implement SQL queries to extract, cleanse, and validate data during migration.
- Create comprehensive reports and dashboards using PowerBI to provide clear insights into the migration progress and data quality.
- Apply Python (good to have) for automation, data manipulation, and advanced analytics as needed.
- Familiarity with SAP Cloud Application Lifecycle Management (CALM) and JIRA for project monitoring and coordination.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful data migration.
Necessary Skills:
- Expertise in SAP BODS and SAP Info Steward for data migration and quality management.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for data querying, manipulation, and transformation.
- Solid experience in Data Analysis to ensure data quality and integrity throughout the migration.
- Proficiency in PowerBI for reporting and data visualisation to track project progress and data health.
- Business Knowledge and the ability to understand how data impacts business processes, especially in SAP environments.
- Experience in Leading a team of Technical and Business Data Analysts and ETL team.
- Proficiency in planning and reporting progress of Data Migration object by object
