... Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:
In this role, you will be responsible for leading efforts to support the organisation's digital transformation journey. You will provide expert Information Management products and advice to support business operations. Key projects include developing and implementing a centralised taxonomy, evaluating business systems against compliance frameworks, and supporting the development of policies and frameworks under the information management strategy.
Responsibilities include:
- Consulting with key business areas to further develop and implement a centralised taxonomy, including associated product development.
- Evaluating business systems against compliance frameworks.
- Supporting the development and review of policies and frameworks that support the information management strategy.
- Assisting the broader team in ensuring consistent, efficient, and compliant information, records, and document management practices.
- Providing regular updates on progress and delivering strategic advice to senior management as required.
- Promoting workplace safety, equity and diversity, and environmental management, and demonstrating behaviours in accordance with organisational values, including working supportively and cooperatively with all colleagues to achieve shared outcomes.
Necessary Skills & Qualifications:
The role is aimed towards individuals with strong information management experience who are looking for opportunities to build on their ability to work autonomously, lead work supporting an organisation-wide digital transformation program and to leverage innovative ways of working. To succeed in this role, you will have a passion for attention to detail and will be able to work successfully with others to achieve common goals.
- Our ideal candidate must demonstrate the following:
- Relevant experience and understanding of contemporary information and knowledge management practices and principles in a government context.
- Experience with the implementation of a new information management product or service across an organisation (which includes change and project management considerations and the development of associated planning and reporting products).
- Experience in supporting the development and review of enterprise-wide policies and frameworks related to information management.
- Strong communication skills with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships to resolve complex issues.
- Must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident
- Currently holds a Baseline Commonwealth security clearance.
