A leading Data Management company in Canberra is currently seeking skilled Data Entry Operators to join their team in support of the upcoming election. Position Type: Temporary/Casual
Duration: 3-4 weeks, post-election.
Hours: Minimum 35 hours per week
Shift Options:
- Morning: 8:00am – 3:15pm
- Afternoon: 3:30pm – 8:30pm
Occasional Saturday shifts may be required
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately entering ballot numbers and other relevant data into the system
- Ensuring data integrity and high-level accuracy in all entries
- Meeting designated targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) within strict deadlines
- Communicating effectively with supervisors and team members on-site to ensure smooth operations
- Identifying and flagging any discrepancies or issues within the data to maintain quality assurance
- Adhering to all relevant data protection and privacy regulations
- Maintaining productivity and focus under tight time constraints
Key Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in data entry, administration, or digitisation environments
- Strong typing speed and accuracy
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify errors quickly
- Effective communication skills
- Strong computing skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to new systems and processes
- Capable of working independently while contributing to a team environment
About You:
- Must be an Australian Citizen to apply
- Ability to pass a National Police Check
- Availability to work the required shift times
- Strong organisational and time management skills
