Dynamics 365 Field Service Developer - Brisbane CBD (Hybrid)

Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Dynamics 365 Field Service Developer to join a dynamic team within a large, influential organisation. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the optimisation of critical field service operations through the development and implementation of custom solutions within the Dynamics 365 Field Service platform. This role offers a 3-month contract with a strong possibility of a 9-month extension, based in the heart of Brisbane CBD with a flexible hybrid work arrangement (1-3 days in office).

Responsibilities:

• Design and Development:
  • Develop and implement custom solutions and integrations within Dynamics 365 Field Service.
  • Design and implement efficient workflows and processes to enhance field service operations.
  • Configure and customise the Field Service application to align with specific business needs.
• Collaboration and Communication:
  • Engage with business stakeholders to gather and understand their requirements.
  • Clearly communicate technical solutions and their impact to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Collaborate with other developers and consultants to ensure seamless integration and implementation.
• Technical Skills:
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Field Service and related technologies.
  • Utilise the Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps) to build robust solutions.
  • Work with APIs and Dataverse to develop scalable and automated workflows.
  • Effectively troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Implementation and Support:
  • Implement and configure Dynamics 365 Field Service solutions.
  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance for implemented systems.
  • Stay informed about the latest features and best practices in Dynamics 365 Field Service.
• Specific Tasks May Include:
  • Creating and managing work orders.
  • Integrating Field Service with other enterprise systems (e.g., CRM, ERP).
  • Developing custom mobile applications for field technicians.
  • Implementing scheduling and dispatch optimisation.
  • Managing inventory and assets.
  • Generating insightful reports and dashboards.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience as a Dynamics 365 Field Service Developer.
• Strong understanding of the Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps).
• Experience with API integrations and Dataverse.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment.
• Ability to work within a fast paced, and large organisation.
