This role has a specific focus on Application Security capabilities, supported by a breadth of experience in operations, risk and compliance, and business process improvement.

The preferred architect will have experience in the design, implementation, and operationalisation of Application Security discipline areas, including SAST/DAST/RAST, application specific security architectures (e.g. SAP, GIS), and software layer control capabilities (e.g. Web Application Firewalling, Application Firewalling, Database Access Management).

• Advise ISB’s ICT solution architects, cyber security consultants, and other solution delivery stakeholders, on topics relating to Application Security capability areas, and how these various staff can utilise the capabilities to reduce solution delivery costs and lower cyber security risk.
• Maintain an adequate level of knowledge of the most relevant emerging cyber security threats, offensive and defensive technology and methodologies, and general IT industry trends, that enable the efficient development of Application Security capabilities.
• Contribute cyber security technical expertise and risk advisory for project teams implementing solutions on the Microsoft Power Platform, including Dynamics 365 and Dataverse.

• Knowledge of modern cyber security risk management and control frameworks, strategic cyber security architecture, and business architecture/strategy.
• Knowledge of IS18 (Essential 8, ISO27001), PCI-DSS, and the PSPF/ISM.
• Knowledge of Application Security capability areas, inclusive of the vendor/provider landscape, as well as design/implementation/operationalisation considerations and good practices.
• 3+ years of experience in Application Security technologies and/or solutions, and 5+ years of experience in Cyber Security.
