What will you do?
- Manage security incidents including malware alerts, privilege misuse, suspicious account activity, and more.
- Implement and maintain proactive and reactive security controls across the environment.
- Design and improve security configurations and controls, ensuring ongoing compliance with policy and standards.
- Drive strategic and operational security initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives and the Risk Management framework.
- Collaborate with business leaders, IS teams, and project managers to embed security into all technology and business initiatives.
- Lead audits and report on the effectiveness of security controls using approved metrics and KRIs.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of the Information security management strategy.
What will you bring?
- 3–5 years of experience in a Security Engineer/Architect role with 2+ years in managing a few people in the team
- Strong technical foundation in systems/network administration, with experience in Windows, Active Directory, Exchange, SQL, DNS, DHCP.
- Proficiency in tools such as SIEM, Incident Response Tools, Intrusion Prevention Systems, PAM, and Allow-Listing solutions.
- Experience implementing and managing security in cloud environments such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present technical security concepts to diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrated leadership in managing projects, mentoring teams, and driving a security-first culture.
- Relevant qualifications in IT; certifications such as CISSP, ITIL (highly desirable).
- Experience working in a health insurance or member-based organisation (nice to have).
