Randstad Digital is working with a leading client in the Energy sector who has an immediate need for a Senior Cyber Security Business Analyst to join their program. The program is focused on delivering new cybersecurity capability into IT and OT divisions, while working with BAU cybersecurity teams to sustain their level of maturity. This typically means many small initiatives are running at any one time. Initiatives can be technical, and interaction is mainly with IT, OT, networks and cybersecurity personnel.
The Cyber Security Business Analyst will be responsible for gathering and documenting both business and technical requirements for a number of projects within an enterprise-wide Cyber Security Program. You will manage a diverse group of stakeholders in the security space.
Key Responsibilities
- Assigned to 3 or 4 cyber security projects that belong to the cyber security improvement program.
- Work closely with cyber security solution architect, cyber security SMEs and the project manager to ensure that assigned projects meet the cyber security and project requirements.
- Lead definition of requirements with project teams and business users, translating business needs into documented requirements and use cases that can be used by developers to create software, by application specialists to configure software, or by infrastructure specialists to develop technical solutions.
- Conduct and facilitate requirements gathering workshops with both business and technical stakeholders
- Involved in highly complex matters and business systems processes that have impact for the organization and that involve Senior Management strategic decisions
- Develop business requirements documents and other project artefacts
- Develop frameworks, standards and processes
- Work with business and technical stakeholders to resolve conflicting requirements
- Track requirements and deliverables to ensure that business requirements are being met for the assigned projects
About you:
- 5+ years as a Business Analyst
- Outstanding verbal, written and presentation skills
- Experience in any of the following: firewalls, VPNs, Internet, zero trust, encryption, anti-virus, endpoint protection, SIEM, VAPT, DMZs, SASE, DoSP, CASB/DLP, Sandboxing, MFA, WAF, MDM, Cloud security, whitelisting.
- Experience working on cyber security related projects
- Knowledge of cyber security governance, principles and controls
- Knowledge of cyber security industry standards (NIST Cybersecurity Framework, COBIT) and regulations.
