Our client is one of Australia’s leading manufacturers and suppliers of roll formed steel building products and are renowned by top clients for their high quality products and fast turnaround times. Due to upcoming projects, our client is looking for a Customer Service Representative to join their high-performing Customer Service team based in Erskine Park.
... Your New Role:
Reporting to a supportive and knowledgeable Customer Service Manager, your role will have variety and a typical day will involve:
- 5-6 month contract
- Effectively communicate with both internal and external customers.
- Provide high-level customer service in line with service agreements, aiming for first call resolution.
- Handle inbound and outbound calls
- Respond to customer quote requests and follow up as required.
- Ensure orders are entered accurately and promptly, addressing any anomalies.
- Adhere to cut-off times to ensure all work is entered by the deadline.
- Investigate and resolve issues related to errors, damage, credit claims, and promises.

About You:
- 1-2 years of customer service or sales experience.
- Experience in a call center or similar environment.
- Experience working with targets and KPIs.
- A Certificate 3 or above in customer care/contact is advantageous.
- A Diploma in Contact Management is also beneficial.
- Experience in stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and influencing.
- Outcome-focused, resilient, and adaptable to changes.
