As a Customer Service Officer, you’ll be the first point of contact and will be required to provide friendly, responsive, and accurate information and services. You will provide friendly, responsive, accurate, and consistent information and services to customers while performing administrative functions in line with organisational policies and standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately handle customer enquiries, requests, complaints, and applications, ensuring satisfaction and escalating issues only when necessary
- Promote online services and act as a positive and professional ambassador at all times
- Accurately process applications, payments, and transactions in line with organisational policies
- Participate in mobile customer service stalls, including setup and risk assessments
- Ensure a safe, professional, and welcoming customer service environment
Essential Criteria:
- Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Proven experience in a high volume, multi channel customer service role
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on first-contact resolution
- Excellent communication skills to explain complex information clearly
- Ability to multitask, prioritise, and adapt to changing requirements
- Proficiency in using multiple computer systems and databases
Desirable Criteria:
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., Certificate IV in Call Centre or Administration)
- Ability to speak a second language
- Class C driver’s license
